Anthesis is one of the newer cafes opened up at Robertson Quay, a place you could fall back on for coffee and brunch. Its pretty interior and windy alfresco seats are more than just picturesque, they make the perfect atmosphere for couples and friends alike. The food prices here are a little more steep than the rest, but its quality speaks up for its value.
Don’t even think of not queuing if you intend to come here for weekend brunch. Riders Café is very popular with crowds for their breakfast food they whip up and also their Freshly Baked Tea Scones.
Another HUGE PLUS is guests can dine while having a great view of the stables nearby where horses occasionally graze the lawns. Another signature would be their Death By Chocolate Cake drenched in thick chocolate sauce which is definitely not for the weak-hearted.

What I love about this place is how it's hidden in one of the lanes along Duxton, on the second storey of a shophouse and how it has an all-day breakfast menu. Many swear by their Poached Eggs ($15) sitting on a slice of thick, fluffy toast and which comes with generous lashings of their thick hollandaise sauce.
Their Belgian style waffle with maple syrup and butter ($8.50) and Key Lime Crumb Cake ($7) are pretty damn awesome too.
